At the Comox Valley Canning Company we make sustainably sourced, small batch preserves. The produce we use comes from our very own backyard and from farmers through out the valley. We aim to create preserves that are delicious and full of as much local goodness as we can pack into them. We have everything from jams and jellies to pickles, salsa and steak sauce - oh and don't forget the pie filling or our very own Tartar Starer. Take a look at our Product List to see what we have available right now.
The Comox Valley Canning Company was started in 2018 by Jessica and Chris.
Jessica (JJ to her friends) is our Jammer in Chief. A whiz in the kitchen, this is the lady behind the ingenious and delicious creations you’re about to enjoy. After a brief career as a Registered Nurse, JJ decided to combine her passion for food with her desire to make the world better place through the CVCC.
Chris is our Numbers Guy, with 10 years of corporate finance and renewable energy development experience to back it up. Mostly, he just tries to stay out of the way while making sure the CVCC can pay its bills and keep up its good work.
Dylan is in the backpack. She makes a ton of mess but is so adorable that we don’t mind. Hopefully, one day she’ll be taking the reins from us.
